New Design Work...

This was quite interesting to shoot. Took about 3 full days to complete the set up in an empty warehouse in Jigginstown, Co. Kildare. The set was made with some sheets of plywood and a frame was constructed to hold it all together. The throne-like chair, which we were lucky to have come across was painted repeatedly with white paint, so too were the walls.

We then set up the whole thing with lights etc, and some heaters to keep the bare model warm. He was painted with white body paint and had to sit in the still-damp chair. We then had to painstakingly paint the coloured strips using masking tape and paint samples from Woodies. The stripes had to be painted down the walls and across the chair and body, taking about 2 hours.

The lines then had be cleaned up in photoshop in post-production, with other niggly little bits to iron out as well. But overall it came together over a good while. And then, the harddrive failed and all the psd documents were lost. Luckily the final image was backed up. Phew!
